Hello everyone, welcome to our new website created with the aim of spreading SASHA to wider society to tackle sexual violence not just in Leeds, but everywhere. SASHA stands for Students Against Sexual Harassment and Assault, we are a society full of members who are passionate about dismantling rape culture and addressing all groups affected by it - making and sharing content that supports survivors as well as educates people on sexual assault. We have created and facilitated resources to our members, including resource cards with key definitions and helplines, Spiking leaflets and our joint pamphlet with Leeds University Union.
Here on our website, you will be able to access all of our the informational posts we share to our main Instagram page, see the events we have worked on - such as, our 'Reclaim' art exhibitions and any upcoming socials we have, access a diverse range of resources and get involved with our new blog!
Through this new blog, we hope to get our members and other people interested in raising awareness and de-stigmatising issues around sexual violence more involved with our society - introducing SASHA writers! If you are interested in becoming a writer for our blog, join our WhatsApp group chat and put forward any article ideas you may have.
We hope you get in involved, love the SASHA committee x
